El Grano de Oro in Pacifica

Great customer service and the meat was not fatty but taste was kind of lacking. The salsas we not very good for a mexican restaurant and we tried all of them.

Best burritos in Pacifica. You can eat there but it's more of a takeout place. Everything is good here. The burritos are legendary and they make them right in front of you. The whole staff is super friendly and always helpful. Don't try to order while you're on your phone though - they don't roll with that. Prices are pretty standard for the Bay Area; about$10 for a burrito large enough for two meals unless you're super hungry. This is the only place I've gone where every meat option is so good I literally just tell them to decide for me. It's that good and I've been there a hundred times. You won't be disappointed.

Good, not great. Burrito was dry, carne asada was tough. Slicing the carne thin and against the grain could help.Next time I'll order 3x cheese and/or salsa to balance out the other dry ingredients... There's no salsa bar. Seriously.Overall it was tasty, but neither of us finished our food despite being hungry. Staff is super nice, friendly, and fast.

Been going to this place since they opened!! This place is a local favorite that stood the test of time. Family-owned and operated. I've always loved the food here and their prices are very reasonable. They run a very efficient tight ship and are always friendly. Peggy is almost always behind the counter cooking and putting your dishes together with a smile. Be sure to go in and say "hi"! I can't say enough good things about this place. This is by far one of the best places in Pacifica!!

They used to have great burritos. With the new owner the quality went down quite a bit but it was still edible. But now, since they raised the prices the meat quality went down dramatically. The carne asada I had last weekend was terribly chewy. We are not coming back again!!

For a new restaurant the food was lousy the meat was all burnt and crispy and dried up they're better burrito places in Pacifica

Under New Management, and the food is so amazing and great customer service! If you have not been here yet under the new management, you have to come try the food it is authentic fresh and amazing!

The food was good and service was fast. It's a cute neighborhood when there is no fog.

As a fan of the Mission District my expectations are pretty high. This Pacifica location is very good. I would visit again.

Owner operated and family run. If you want authentic Mexican food without high prices....this is the place to go!

Great Customer Service!

Cozy little place. If you have a small stomach then this place will be right for you. If you a big eater, I would suggest going down the street instead. I ordered the super burrito and it did not fill me. In terms of price, it is the same as down the street but the burrito here at El Grano has less stuffing.

Delicious vegetarian options! Close to the beach.

Destination: Delicious This place has been at the corner forever, but came under new management a couple months ago. My wife and I were a little hesitant since we had been going here for years, but we were very surprised - it was even better than before! Stay for a bite, or get it to go and walk down to the beach. The reopened restaurant is much better than the old restaurant it has great food and service.

I really enjoyed it and so did all of the people I went with. They had just opened a couple of days before and all the staff were super nice. The food was excellent and I loved the horchata. There is chips and salsa available as well. I would highly recommend this place!

Family owned restaurant. Been making home made tortillas for 35 years! Love their super burrito. If nothing else, go get a pack of tortillas!

Went to this restaurant because they had 4 1/2 stars. I was so disappointed when I got there. I’ve never been to a tequeria without the meat being grilled fresh, except for this restaurant. Their meat was precooked in a metal bowl. They didn’t have any fresh salsa for their customers. When I asked for chips, they said the chips were not free. When I got home, I live about 5 minutes away...my daughter’s quesadilla was soggy, my chicken nachos was a beef nachos instead, & there was no cheese in the nachos. The chips in the nachos was so soggy & nasty. My son was complaining the beef in his burrito was rough. I’m sorry to say we were all disappointed & unhappy with our food. I will never go back to this restaurant again!

My family & I ordered Asada burritos and Asada tacos. The burritos were the best we have ever had. Loved the different bean options. The only thing is chips were cold, stale but the food was delicious and the horchata was perfect! Highly recommend.

I ordered a steak Quesadilla and it totally ruined my appetite when I saw the guy wipe the inside of my food container out with a dirty towel that they wipe the counter with. Not a good thing to see with covid19 out there. I won’t be back.

Great burritos and tacos

Burrito was ok. Order the beef and there was no much beef!

I love this place. I pop in at least once a week for some tacos. Food quality is always great, everything I've tried here is delicious and the people behind the counter are very friendly. I'm consistently pleased with this place!

I've been coming to this place since I was in high school(1999-2003)! I've only gotten burritos though, but it's the best tasting burrito spot you can find within a 20 mile radius, maybe even more! They are all friendly and helpful. Anyone I introduce to the place agree with me that it's so good and my kids love it as well!

The grilled chicken tacos or super burrito is where its at!

Had a burrito (beef) it was very dry and tasteless. There was no seasoning on the meat and beans. This was my first time returning since the new owners. Will not return

Amazing burritos. Super friendly staff. Nice local place. Tip: grab a burrito, stroll down to Pacifica pier to eat it. Also, they're closed on Sundays.

Huevos RancherosAte here 2 days in a row, it was so good! Made to order AND delicious. Awesome salsas too, too add to your plate.

Tasty burritos using tortillas they make onsite. The menu is not extensive, they don't have a salsa and veggies bar, and burritos don't come with chips. Limited choices, but what they is good.

Great burritos, beans, and delicious catering

Mexican food seems to taste great near the ocean. this place was just purchased and redone. I think the owners did a great job and the food quality is excellent. Good tasting good flavors just good food. You can eat it there or take it to the beach. Either way it tastes good

Lovely place

Sadly this place, after moving recently has to close. The owner of their newer location is selling the building. If most of our small businesses close due to our inflated real estate, we'll only have chain restaurants in our area-- a tragedy.

Marina quesadilla was excellent but tacos were a bit short on taste.

Good food and clean place

On a corner with lots of window with not much to look at. Ten tables in an open and simple format and decor, suggesting lots of takeout business. Order from a board. Condiments bar is available. As TV on. No beer or wine. Good food.
